Darby's Princess Hair
Who is Darby and what makes her special
Craig & Alison have 5 children between them and number 4 is a beautifull very caring young 10 year old called Darby.
Darby has been growing her hair all her life but decided it was a time for a cut and after winding her dad around her finger he gave in and agreed to take her. On the way to the hairdressers Darby metioned it would be amazing of she could donate her hair. She then explaied to her dad all about the Little Princess Trust and how they help children who need wigs.
Once at the Hairdresser (Ailsa in Bridge of Weir) there it was explained further how Darby's hair could help. It was also explained that normally this would be planned in advance and you would raise money to help witht he making of the wigs.
Darby wanted to help and wanted to help now.
How did Geronimo Foundation Help
Geronimo Foundation donated £200.00 to the Little Princess Trust in the name of Darby.
Ailsa did not charge for Darby's hair cut so Geronimo Foundation also Donated £25.00 to A neonatal trust in the name of Ailsa.
